The term "RepairsUniverse" or "us" or "we" or "our" refers to RepairsUniverse.com, the owner of the web site. The term "you" refers to the user or view of our web site. Repairs Universe reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
We provide this information so that you are fully aware of our terms and conditions, as well as our shipping and return policies. By placing an order with RepairsUniverse, you are agreeing to adhere to these terms and conditions.
Return or Exchange an Item
If you need to return or exchange an item please contact us first. RepairsUniverse is not responsible for products returned without prior contact. Please use the "Contact Us" form for authorization. Please note: an authorization code is not assurance that a refund will be granted. All items will need to be inspected before this determination can be made. RepairsUniverse reserves the right to reject any return due to condition or non-compliance with our returns policy.
As the return shipper you are responsible for making sure that the return package arrives to us safely, and without damage. We recommend you use UPS or USPS with a tracking or delivery confirmation service. We suggest fragile items that could get damaged in transit are sent using a protective box or are padded well. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges when returning an item for an exchange or refund. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by the customer. We can not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
Returns of all items must be made within 10 days of ordering. Items must be returned in new, and unused condition. The definition of “new” as defined by Repairs Universe is an item that is unopened, was not attempted to be installed, has no damage. Once we receive the items back they are inspected and checked for any damage. Once the return has passed our inspection and tests, a refund of the purchase price will be issued. If we receive returned items which are not in new and unused condition no refund will be issued and parts will be returned to you at your cost. All returns are subject to a 15% - 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non refundable.
Non-Refundable Items
All motherboard replacements, hard drives and repair tools are non refundable.
Return Cost and Insurance
The cost of shipping and insuring a return in the full responsibility of the customer. The shipping and handling cost associated with a return for a replacement are shared. RepairsUniverse will pay for shipping and handling cost of sending a replacement and the customer will pay for return shipping and handling. We cannot offer everyday low prices and absorb the full cost of handling return shipments.
Cancellations
If you have placed an order and need to cancel it for any reason please contact us immediately so we can stop the order from being processed and being dispatched. All cancellations will incur a 10% or $2.50 cancellation fee, whichever is greater, to cover transaction fees. Orders already shipped can not be canceled.
Warranty Policy
In the event you receive a defective part that is not damaged during shipping, contact the manufacturer directly. We provide a 30-day limited exchange policy on the parts we sell, and we offer no claims or additional warranties other than that offered by the particular manufacturer of your part. Items damaged due to neglect, mishandling, improper installation or use, abuse, or any other fault of the seller will not qualify for this limited warranty.
Price Protection
When an order is placed you are agreeing to purchase at the listed price. This website is updated frequently to insure the best possible price is listed. Once an order is placed you have agreed to the current price. No adjustments to price can be made once the order has been processed.
Product Images
The product images on this website are a fair representation of the items. They may not be 100% accurate. We attempt to keep images as up to date as possible, however some products images may vary slightly than the part in stock, however the item will still be as described.
Anti-Fraud Policy
For all fraudulent and attempted fraudulent orders we will provide your IP (Computer Address) to the users ISP (Internet Service Provider), local authorities and will also report this activity to the International Anti-Fraud Task Force (IAFT), FBI, The perpetrator's local Police Department and The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC). Repairs Universe considers fraud a direct and serious threat. We do not take any effort to defraud lightly and will prosecute whenever and wherever possible to the fullest extent of the law.
